Very nice, quite and stylish. Located with a beautiful view overlooking the bay, harbor and mountains. Lots of small outside spots on different levels all with a fantastic view. Within walking distance of several good seafood restaurants, cafés and shops. Restaurant in hotel was excellent, but a bit pricy. Staff very polite and helpful. Be aware - the hotel is located up the mountain side on many levels, which is very charming, but the many stairs can be a challenge for people with walking problems. This was not a problem to us though and we really enjoyed our stay. Would like to return.
This is a beautiful building in a great location convenient for the Resort yet far enough away from it to be quiet and with great views across to the Marina
There are a lot of steps which wasn't a problem for us and we thought the restaurant was very expensive and very poor value
the food was some of the best ive eaten ,also the staff could not do enough, and what a location
the rooms at the back of the property are in need of an update as are the pool and spa areas
We loved the fact that this was a luxury property with intimacy. We stayed here for two weeks, which we think is longer than most guests would usually stay, but we loved every minute of it. The hotel only has 22 rooms but this did not detract from every aspect of personal service you can imagine. When we first arrived and we were sharing the pool with only one other couple, we all agreed that this was like sharing a huge, magnificent villa with some other people. The dining was superb (best in the area) and the live music every evening was excellent. This hotel is the best in Andratx by far. Will go back next year when we are confident we will receive the same warm welcome.
The location, the staff and the fact that it is a small boutique hotel
The beauty of the hotel, the views from the balconies, dinning area and the terraces to the port and the mountains were fabulous. All of the Staff were excellent, and made you feel at home.
Could do with better soundproofing between the second and 3 floor rooms. From time to time would here a noise, but mostly it was ok.
The hotel is stylish and well appointed and is in a stunning location. The staff, food and service were excellent.
Lifts don't serve all the floors.
The staff were fantastic, very friendly nothing was too much trouble. The view's are breathtaking and facilities very good.
No car parking. Cleaners very noisy on a morning. Pool too cold. Breakfast staff a little lax and slow
We found the whole experience exactly to our liking and would revisit again and definately recommend it to our friends. The only set back for us was that a few children arrived at the poolside and were a little noisy of course, we were not expecting families to be staying there.
We have been lucky enough to stay at some very nice hotels over the years, and Villa Italia is now right up there with the best! The location is wonderful, walking distance to the town, but with the most magnificent views. More than this though, was the welcome we received upon arrival, and later at dinner in the superb restaurant. Every one of the staff we encountered was so friendly, helpful and very professional. We had booked a standard double room, with sea view. The room was very comfortable, as was the bed. The bathroom, whilst very compact, had a great shower, which didn't require a degree in physics to work, and had all the necessary 'bits', ie; soft towelling robes, hairdryer, good quality shampoo, shower gel etc. Everything was very clean and well maintained and the view from our room was fantastic, with a balcony and table and chairs to sit and enjoy watching the world go by.... We shall definitely return!
Difficult to come up with any negative comments, but if pushed - I think that the only very slight disappointment was that the pillows didn't live up to the rest of the accommodation - very average, when all else was above. I did say, if pushed!
The location, the exquisite food, the comfort, the facilities, all truly enjoyable
Nothing, it is just quite expensive. But this is something you know beforehand and you can decide if you are willing to spend such an amount.
The whole experience is ralaxing and a beautiful setting
The service, location and dining.
Poorly designed room (unable to place the chair under the desk as it is too big !) , no double bed(two singles pushed together do not = 5 star accomodation), poorly designed bathroom (no where to hang either/or your used towels or bathrobe, no where to put your store suitcases or additional luggage.
Excellent location, beautiful views from room, good food, staff very friendly.
Single beds only - placed together to create double bed, lots of steps to climb, outdoor pool wasn't heated.
The views from our room were breathtaking and the staff were magnuficant.
